Catalogue & Index issue 155 (printed version)

The CIG committee would like to apologise for the delay in producing the printed copies of issue 155 of Catalogue and Index. Group members and subscribers will know that this is the last issue to appear in printed paper form. Unfortunately some gremlins have decided to frustrate our intention to get the last issue out. When we know more we will make a further announcement.

Meantime we hope that issue 156, which will be the first electronic only issue, will follow close behind. An announcement will be made on the CIG website and blog and any other medium we can find when the issue is available to view. Subscribers and institutional members of CILIP who have not notified our publications officer (Andrew Watson) of their wish to receive a pdf copy of the e-issue, may still do so. Andrew is at a.m.watson@ucl.ac.uk.

My sympathies about the gremlins - they really do seem to have had a whale of a time mucking about with Catalogue & Index over the years, as I can see from my own copies.  They, the gremlins, have made both the Autumn 2004 and the Summer 2006 issues number 153 and, in every copy I have from Winter 2003 to Autumn 2006, they have substituted the word "for" for the word "of" in CILIP's name at the at the bottom of the back page. Now that really is unfair!
