Have a look behind the scenes at City of London Libraries

Journey of the Book: a behind-the-scenes look at how we obtain and catalogue books for the City of London’s public libraries.
Venue: Bibliographical Services Section, Guildhall Library.
Following a book, you will walk through the various stages of ordering, accessioning, cataloguing and preparation for the shelf, with plenty of opportunities to ask “why?” as well as “how?”
