CIG makes donation to Book Aid and CILIP Benevolent Fund

CIG is pleased to have been able to make a donation of £100 to both Book Aid International and the CILIP Benevolent Fund. The group has made such donations in the past when its funds allow.

As the Treasurer of the group I am in process of putting together the annual accounts and I am pleased to say that it looks like CIG has had a successful year. CIG receives its income from a capitation payment for each member by CILIP. It really does make a difference which groups people join, so please encourage colleagues to join CIG.

CIG supplements this income with money made from events and the committee is in the process of planning events for next year, including the CIG conference. If you have any ideas for events please let us know.
