Something good from Bury (two)

Of course, it won't last - and it's where you are in May that counts, not in September. But hey, let's enjoy the moment...

I have before me a print out from the BBC website taken on Saturday at 5.45pm. It shows the Coca-Cola Football League Two table. We are top of the league, yes, we are top of the league! Undefeated! Played seven, won five, drawn two -17 points from 7 games!

But, more importantly, we are (thanks to the pre-season penalty points deductions handed out by the FA) 28 points above the drop zone. At this rate, we might be safe by Christmas. Marvellous! Up the Shakers!
