Forget Obama and McCain - this is the Big One! Your chance to vote in the Annual Election for Trustees to serve on CILIP Council. If you're a voting Member of CILIP that is - and if not, why not?!

Council is the governing body of CILIP, responsible for the decisions which affect our professional lives as Members of CILIP and the wider library and information community. It's the Council which takes the decisions - I simply help to implement them, alog with the rest of the staff.

The Trustees work hard in the best interests of CILIP - and your best interests are served by engaging with the process and casting your vote. All the details are on the CILIP website, and ballot papers have now been posted out to all voting Members. I look forward to a high turnout, reflecting the democratic health and vigour of our professional community.
