    10 days ago (how's that for speedy blogging?) I attended the Unicom Social tools for Business Conference at the Novotel Hammersmith. It was a long time since I'd been to an event there and it has vastly improved as a venue. I enjoyed a crammed two-day programme of stimulating presentations, discussion and networking all ably chaired by David Gurteen. His facilitation approach is always refreshing....

    Second Life - is looming large for CILIP. It's already been mentioned in the Umbrella Blog and Mark's blog , so apologies for referring to it again. The idea is a fascinating one and it's going to be very interesting to watch as the initiative takes off ... I am assuming that it will of course.
