Welcome to the RFID in Libraries Blog, which has been created for all those attending CILIP's annual RFID conference. I'm John Woolley, MD of CILIP Enteprises, and our Conferences team is organising this event for the third year running - following two complete sell-outs. I hope you will be joining us on 13 November for another outstanding event.

The aim of this Blog is to give you regular updates on all aspects of the conference and provide you with an opportunity to comment on postings. This year's theme is all about getting value for money, and you can find out all about the event at www.cilip.org.uk/rfid2007.

We have expanded conference and networking facilities at the QEII Conference Centre to meet demand, attracted a record number of sponsors, and have now opened online booking so you can register right away.

If you want to post to RFID in Libraries Blog you will need to be registered either as a CILIP member or a guest on CILIP websites. To sign up click on www.cilip.org.uk/register if you are a CILIP member. If not please click on www.cilip.org.uk/register/guestreg.
